Meet the Doctors

Dr. Steven Fors

Dr. Steven Fors was born in Wichita, Kansas and raised in Sacramento, CA. He completed his undergraduate education at Santa Barbara City College and the University of California at Santa Barbara. He graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR in 1984. After practicing in Portland for a year, he moved to MA where he founded Westport Chiropractic 1986.

A life-long addict of continuing education, Dr. Fors has completed post graduate certification programs in rehab, neurology, Active Release Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Graston/FAKTR and much more.

He resides in Westport where he enjoys playing soccer and the mandolin.

Dr. Conor Sowersby

Dr. Conor Sowersby

A Westport local, Dr. Sowersby has lived in Westport since he was 6 years old. Because of his long history with Westport, Dr. Sowersby has formed a strong connection with both the town and the people who live in it. He graduated cum laude from Bristol Community College in 2013 with an Associate of Science. While at BCC Dr. Sowersby was the captain of the varsity basketball team. He attended Salem State University and graduated magna cum laude in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. While playing basketball for Salem State, Dr. Sowersby suffered a career-ending knee injury which sparked his interest in rehabilitation of athletes. This interest led him to Chiropractic. Dr. Sowersby went on to attend New York Chiropractic College graduating in 2020 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Sowersby lives in Westport with his wife Vitalina. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, swimming, and reading.

Dr. Brooke Bogacz

Originally from Tyngsboro, MA, “Dr. Brooke” graduated summa cum laude from Merrimack College in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, where she also played Division II softball. She went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College of Health Sciences in 2024, where she completed her student clerkship at the Rochester and Canandaigua VA Medical Centers. Dr. Bogacz is passionate about patient education and takes a personalized, evidence-informed approach to care. She looks forward to supporting the health and wellness of individuals and families across the Westport community.

Dr. Bogacz now lives in Attleboro with her partner, Andrew, and their cat, Gary. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys visiting restaurants and breweries throughout the Northeast, painting, knitting, spending time outdoors, and watching the Red Sox.

Dr. MICHAEL BOUCHER

Dr. Boucher graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois and practiced at Alves Chiropractic in New Bedford, MA for many years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience into practice. He utilizes various traditional chiropractic manipulative techniques to treat and correct musculoskeletal problems affecting the spine and extremities along with myofascial release methods. He is also well versed in rehab protocols and nutrition. Additionally, he operated a successful weight loss and nutritional consulting program during his chiropractic career which embodies his holistic approach to health care.

His passion for health and fitness began while participating in athletics at Bishop Stang Highschool. He continues to be an avid fitness fanatic and exercises regularly, which he encourages with his patients. He truly believes in “practicing what you preach.” A big sports fan, he loves the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins.

 He is a lifelong resident of Acushnet, MA, where he currently resides with his wife, son and 2 dogs. He has served on the Finance Committee in the Town of Acushnet for many years as a committee member and Chairman. “It’s my way of giving back to the town”.
